Chefs Roland and Jackie Laudico are doing a special menu for Hong Kong’s Steik World’s 5th anniversary!

Well, it feels like the entire world wants to be in our kitchen.

Over at Hong Kong, Steik World decided to celebrate its 5th anniversary by inviting Chef Roland Laudico aka Chef Lau and wifey pastry chef Jackie Laudico for a three-day bonanza.

From June 18-20, Chefs Lau and Jackie will be serving modern Filipino food at the Tsim Sha Tsui restaurant. There are two special menus available, both designed by Steik World’s Chef Brian Moore in collaboration with Chef Lau and Chef Jackie. There’s the 2-course lunch menu (starts HKD$178) and the 4-course dinner menu (starts HKD$648).

Both menus feature classic dishes presented in an innovative and contemporary style — which is exactly how Chef Lau came into prominence almost a decade ago.

Remember his Bistro Filipino restaurant in BGC? Familiar Filipino dishes were carefully plated and presented in true fine dining fashion. Even the desserts, made by Chef Jackie, were given a fine, delicate touch.

Because the press information we received highlights the following Filipino faves as Chef Lau’s signature dishes, we’re willing to make a bet, lumpia, sinigang, adobo, and lechon will be on the either or both menus!
