That’s what she clarified when she guested on GMA’s Startalk last Saturday, May 23. She’s not dating a 61 yo guy. Because he’s actually just 56.
“There is a, let’s just say, a special friendship for now,” Maegan said.
He is involved in Maegan’s life, but “it’s all on the music side talaga. He’s 20 years older so marami akong natututunan sa kanya. He guides me, ‘yon nga mentor.”
While it may seem like a legit mentorship, she later quipped that the guy is “very charming and funny. And that’s important, na yung kausap mo, napapatawa ka, napapawi ang luha mo.”
The fact that the dude has always been a bachelor has Maegan a tad bit worried. “He never got married so nakakatakot din yon…so baka talagang bachelor for life, di ba?”
Um, if this were college, this might be treading the fine line of student-teacher relationship, ma’am! But we’re not in college and your dad thinks it’s okay so let’s all carry on. Best of luck!
