At around 4am on Thu, May 28, s till-unidentified person on a motorcyle hurled two grenades at the gates of the Navotas City Jail.
The area is situated behind the Navotas City Police Station.
A woman who was hurt in the explosion was rushed to the hospital.
According to Navotas City Mayor John Ray Tiangco, only one grenade exploded. The second grenade was defused by the city’s bomb squad.
