A 25-year-old man named Jonathan Sernitches was stabbed by his neighbor, July Abiol, due to a misunderstanding over PHP300 cash along Commonwealth Avenue at the Manaois Compound in Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City
According to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Batasan Police Station 6 (PS-6), Sernitches was near his home when the suspect stabbed him four times in the body.
In a report by Francis Wakefield in Tempo, it was revealed that Abiol managed to flee while Sernitches was brought to East Avenue Medical Center for treatment.
Sernitches was later able to explain that Abiol had accused him of hiding PHP300 from him.
