CELEBRATE EBE’S BIRTHDAY

GO TO A FRESH FILTER BAR STOP

After a successful launch of its vinyl compilation last week, Fresh Filter is now embarking on a bar tour. First stop: Saguijo of course! Autotelic, Cheats, Flying Ipis, Yolanda Moon, and much more will be playing. Limited stocks of the vinyl compilation (PHP1,499) will be available there. LEARN CAPOEIRA

The Kadara Capoeira Philippines will have its general assembly on Saturday — all members from its different locations across Metro Manila will come together to play music, dance capoeira in the ronda, and just have fun. CHECK OUT A JAPANESE DRUM RECITAL

It’s called Vessel and it will feature contemporary Japanese drum group Utsawa drumming up the Taiko. Guest performers include Filipino percussionist Paul Zialcita, the Adrinka Lumad Djembe Community, Yu Miyoshi and DJ Taiji Uemura. It all sounds new and interesting, no? 3pm.
