Teen actress Liza Soberano had a teary reunion with her American mother, Jacqulyn Elizabeth Hanley, on Jun 20. The two had not seen each other for roughly seven years.

Liza’s mother met her at the San Francisco International Airport in California, where the actress flew for the North American premiere of her movie Just the Way You Are.

Liza also happened to be with on-screen partner Enrique Gil — we wonder if she introduced him to her mom?

Liza was born in California and grew up with her maternal grandparents when her parents, Filipino John Castillo Soberano and Hanley, separated. She flew to Manila when she was 10 to live with her father.
