The rainbow appearing just after the Metro Manila Pride March had returned to its starting point yesterday — at the Lapu Lapu monument in Rizal Park — felt as though the universe agreed and gave its blessing to the LGBT community.

This year’s march, with a little over 1,800 in attendance, is the biggest yet. Men, women, gays, lesbians, trans, dogs, celebrities, personalities, kids, organizations and what-have-you all came together to #FightForLove.

This fight for love is such a colorful, peaceful and entertaining affair, we think all the other fights for what ever else should be done in this manner. No guns, no violence, just a whole lot of kind smiles, a whole lot of laughter, definitely some kissing and hugging. A fight that feels like a celebration.

Check out our photos below. Until next year!
