On Monday night, Senior Superintendent Elmer Jamias, deputy chief for administration for the Southern Police District (SPD) and his men were manning the Makati City Hall, when they saw Vice President Binay. Jamias expected the VP to may be thank him for providing security at the City Hall, where Junjun Binay was holed-up in his office.

“Ngunit kabaligtaran ang tinanggap ko, puro panlalapit, panghahamon at threat,” Jamias told Juliiane Love de Jesus of Inquirer.net.

According to Jamias, when the Vice President had finished accosting him, the older Binay turned to his men, and then he attacked Jamias’ men.

“Binay also reportedly collared Chief inspected Gideon Ginez for allegedly pushing away Aida Dizon, the sister of his wife Dr. Elenita Binay, when she tried to enter the City Hall. Ginez denied Binay’s claim,” the report continues.

Despite this, Jamias and his men remained at City Hall all through Monday night.

But while Jaimas and his men would remain at City Hall to prevent any more untoward incident, he said they intend to file four charges against Binay: physical injury, direct assault on a person of authority, oral defamation and grave threat.
