Dirty shots: A flood of garbage at Manila Bay

The Roxas Boulevard-Manila Bay area is considered one of the iconic spots of the city. Famed for its sunsets, the location has drawn both locals and foreigners alike.

Alas, in the wake of the heavy rains brought about by the back-to-back storms Egay and Falcon, the famed spot’s “dirty secret” has surfaced.

As shown in these photos of dzMM correspondent Johnson Manabat, a flood of trash is now in the area.

Pundits have ranted and raged over the continuing practice of many Pinoys to toss their trash anywhere — and often into the Manila Bay itself. However, the bad habit has not been corrected.

Seriously, when will people learn?
