A 27-year-old woman (whose name is being withheld) sought the help of the Manila Police Disrict (MPD) after her former live-in partner — with whom she has three children — allegedly uploaded her nude pictures online.
“The woman said she was alerted by concerned neighbors who informed her that her photos were being viewed by other neighbors at a computer shop in Tondo, Manila,” reports Itchie G. Cabayan on Journal Online.
The woman explained that the photos were taken by her former live-in partner Reggie Cruz, 27, a seaman.
The report noted: “The woman filed a complaint against Cruz before the Manila Police District-Women’s and Children Protection Desk. Also named in the complaint was his current partner, identified as Ayumie Ramos, also a resident of Tondo and whom she suspects to have been the ‘brains’ behind the uploading of her nude photos which Cruz kept in his mobile phone.”
Cruz and Ramos are now facing charges for violating Republic Act 9995 or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009 and RA 9262 or Violence Against Women and their Children.
