Like a virgin, indeed!
On Feb 24, 2016, Madonna will perform her first concert in Metro Manila at the SM Mall of Asia. Local promoters Music Management International Live confirmed the reports.
The Manila show is part of “Rebel Heart”, Madonna’s 10th world tour kicking off on Sep 9 in Montreal, Canada, which is also in support of her current album of the same name.
Tickets will go on sale July 26, at 10am via SM Ticket outlets and through its website.
But here’s the rub.
According to a Philippine Daily Inquirer report, “there is talk that the best seats may cost as much as PHP50,000.” Holy cow.
No price list has been released but concert veterans are expecting organizers to release it when publicity materials for the show go full blast today, Jul 20.
Die-hards may want to remember these dates though: Members of Icon, Madonna’s official fan club will be given presale priviledges on Jul 21. Citibank cardholders on Jul 22 & 23. Globe customers meanwhile get Jul 24.
Long-time fans of Madonna, however, are not that excited after seeing the tentative set list from the singer’s website.
