Though Mahal is mourning the death of Jimboy Salazar, that’s probably from the abruptness of it all.
Because look: Mahal is actually in a two-year relationship with a guy named Aries Navarro, and it was Navarro himself who revealed all the details to ABS-CBN’s Push.
They’ve known each other since 2004 but didn’t officially become an item until 2013 — May 15, 2013 to be exact. Based on Aries’ narration, it looks like the relationship is testament to successful online courtship: “Noong 2012 nung nakita ko siya sa (Facebook) ng friend ko habang kausap niya sa Skype. Nung nakita ko yung full name niya, in-add ko siya sa Facebook. Nung nakita niya pictures ko, na-in-love siguro siya sa akin at do’n na nagsimula.”
Ohkay.
Anyway, the 34-year-old single dad says he’s not in the relationship with the 40-year-old Mahal to try and be rich and famous. Mahal, he says, simply makes him happy.
“Buti nga nandiyan si Mahal para pasayahin ako. Sa mga tawa niya nadadala ako. Napapawi ang problema ko. Laking tulong ni Mahal sa akin kasi masayahin siya.”
