The chief of police of Famy town in Laguna has been relieved from his duty following complaints of sexual harassment.

Senior Inspector Rex C. Langkay was removed from his post after a female police officer and a civilian employee assigned at the police station filed harassment charges against him.

A report from Laguna Police Provincial Office said that the alleged sexual harassment occurred in Langkay’s office on July 22.

The complainants said they were surprised to see him without his underwear when they were summoned to his office.

The case against Langkay was filed at the Sta. Rosa, Laguna Regional Trial Court on Thursday, while an administrative case for grave misconduct was filed on July 28 at the Pre-Charge, Evaluation and Investigation Section of Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management (DIDM) in Camp Crame.

PNP Director General Ricardo Marquez ordered Langkay’s removal from his post.
