So the Vice President delivered what he calls the ‘True SONA’ on Monday afternoon at the Cavite State University.
Correct us if we’re wrong but it seemed like he just blamed the government. Which, we can’t help but point out, he is a part of.
His 45-minute SONA left us confused, with a bitter aftertaste and a shitload of questions. We thought, maybe it was just us, you know? Monday came too soon. But perusing the hashtag #BinaySONA on Twitter showed us that no, it wasn’t just us.
People are asking the same questions we had in mind. It seems that like us, a lot of people are looking for answers.
Has time to make his own SONA but too busy to go to senate to face the corruption allegations??? Seriously. #BinaySONA

You keep on spilling out the present administration’s flaws, but the point is, did you do something about it? #BinaySONA

The fact that you had 5 years to tell us about these issues but only chose to tell us now, makes me question your intentions. #BinaySONA

Dear Binay, aren’t you also part of the current administration? Therefore, you’re also complaining about yourself. #BinaySONA
