There 106 publishing houses and bookstores that will participate, including National Bookstore, Summit Media, UP Press, Vibal, UST Publishing House, OMF Literature, Ateneo Press, and Adarna house. This is the 36th year of the book fair.

The enter ground level of the SMX will be filled with books, not to mention the meeting rooms and the function rooms in the second floor.
Bringing the festivities up a notch are exciting events like book signing, launches, performances, from exhibitors — we’ll give you the 411 on the special events as soon as there’s word.
But in the meantime, the magic words are: discounts of up to 80%. Our friends from the book fair say the standard discount is just at 10-30% but there are more generous exhibitors who will be offering up to 80%. Entrance fee is at PHP20, with students and senior citizens at PHP15.
Can’t go wrong with that.
