Several Manila schools suspend classes due to water service interruption

Several schools in Manila suspended classes from Aug 11 to 12 due to Maynilad’s water service interruption.

The following schools have suspended classes:

District 2:
Torres High School
Lakandula High School
M. L. Quezon High School
F. Calderon High School
F. Calderon Elementary School

District 3:
T. Alonzo High School
C. Arellano High School
Raja Soliman High School

District 5:
Manila Science High School
Manila High School
Araullo High School
Justo Lucban Elementary School
A. Quezon Elementary School
E. Delos Santos Elementary School

The scheduled water interruption of Maynilad Water Services in Metro Manila and some parts of Cavite started on Monday, August 10.

The water service interruption started at 1pm on Mon, Aug 10, and will run until 10pm on Thu, Aug 13. This will continue at 1pm on Aug 17 until 3pm on Aug 18.

Among the areas that will be affected are some barangays in Caloocan, Manila, Pasay, Parañaque, Makati, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Cavite City, Bacoor City, Imus City, and some towns in Kawit, Rosario and Noveleta in Cavite. —from a report by Miguel Dumaual, ABS-CBN News
