CATCH TWO NEW EXHIBIT OPENINGS

On Saturday, two new exhibits will open at the beautiful 1335 Mabini. Dexter Sy’s, entitled ‘Identity Crisis’, illustrates the apparent yet tolerated dysfucntion arising from diverse heritage. He is of Filipino and Chinese descent after all, so Sy had a lot of inspiration to draw from. Jose Luis Singson’s ‘Suspension of Disbelief’, meanwhile, is a dramatic exhibit comprised of paintings and sculptures that aim toward a sense of re-building with out needing a new monument. Both exhibitions will until Sep 11 and both will open on Sat. 6pm. 1335A Mabini Street, Ermita Manila. Free

Paco Guerrero is an accomplished photographer whose works have been publishsed all over the world. So we don’t know why it took forever for him to put out a solo exhibit. Anyway, we’re glad he finally on it! “Notes from the Field” features several of his beautiful black and white photos that he’s taken during his travels for his television show, What I See.
