On Gandang Gabi Vice Sunday, Bea Alonzo revealed she has finally learned how to have fun alone.
“Natututunan ko nang maging masaya nang mag-isa ako. When I say mag-isa, I’m saying na may sariling diskarte. I don’t have to depend on anybody else for happiness,” Bea says in an interview on Gandang Gabi Vice.
As one of the biggest stars in the Kapamilya network, Bea tries her best to juggle stardom and having a relationship in the public eye. And while she has finally cracked the code on enjoying things by her lonesome, the The Love Affair star admitted she is still in a relationship with matinee idol Zanjoe Marudo.
“Of course, nagkakaroon din kami ng mga problema, but we’re working things out,” Bea revealed. It was in July when Bea confirmed she and Zanjoe are experiencing a rough patch.
At about the same time, Zanjoe also said he’s working things out with Bea, but stood firm against the accusations against him.
“Hindi ito ang unang beses na mayroon kaming pinagdaanan ni Bea. Maraming beses na kaming… Syempre, ang pagmamahal, hangga’t ‘di nawawala ‘yun, hangga’t ‘andoon ‘yun, kahit anong problema ang dumating sa amin, hindi kami matitibag kung mahal namin ang isa’t isa,” Zanjoe said in an interview with Aquino & Abunda Tonight.

But the rumor mill continued to paint a somber scenario. PhilStar recently spotted Zanjoe attending the premiere night of The Love Affair–and leaving immediately after the screening. The Kapamilya actor also reportedly skipped the red carpet and went straight to the backstage. Zanjoe also missed the cast party with Bea.
But don’t worry about taking your own sweet ‘me time’, Bea!

Last July, actress Maja Salvador says she hoped to take some time for herself as she moved on from her failed relationship with Gerald Anderson. At the time, Maja said the only person who could help her fix her broken heart is herself.
“Kailangan kong bumawi sa sarili ko,” Salvador told members of the entertainment press.
