You may have seen these movies before, but you’ll see them in a much different light — literally.

In an ongoing partnership with the ABS-CBN Film Restoration Project, PowerPlant Mall Cinema 5 in Rockwell will be screening the digitally restored and re-mastered versions of those titles, and more in a special film exhibition that will run from Aug 26 to Sep 1.

“We are very happy to partner with Rockwell who has shown faith in our efforts. Our special screenings at Rockwell will allow audiences to enjoy the movies as the creators envisioned them. Hopefully this is just the start of more exhibitions,” said Leo Katigbak, head of ABS-CBN Film Archives and Restoration.

Other previously restored titles that will be showcased include Sana Maulit Muli, One More Chance, T-Bird at Ako, Hindi Nahahati Ang Langit, and Tanging Yaman.

Since 2011, ABS-CBN Film Restoration Project has been restoring classic films to help preserve Philippine cinematic history. To date, ABS-CBN Film Restoration Project has restored over 100 films.

According to ABS-CBN Film Restoration’s Facebook page, this is the initial lineup of restored titles that will screen at Power Plant Mall from Aug 26 – Sept 1. Screening times will be released soon.
