Will we finally find out who PBB’s ‘Kuya’ really is?

We only know ‘Kuya’ as the enigmatic voice at the Pinoy Big Brother house.

So far, the show has been successful at keeping ‘Kuya’s’ identity a secret since it made its Kapamilya debut in 2005.

But for PBB’s 10th anniversary celebration, the show promised ‘Kuya’ will finally be revealing himself.

“Handa ka na ba masilayan ang boses na ating minahal sa loob ng sampung taon? Makikita mo na siya sa takdang panahon,” the teaser said.

Over the years, fans have been speculating on the identity of the man behind ‘Kuya’s’ voice.

In 2011, Director Laurenti Dyogi had to prove he was not ‘Kuya’ in an interview with Boy Abunda on Bandila. It finally put an end to talks that Dyogi owns the well-known voice.

In that interview, Kuya described himself as 40-year old medium-built guy with fair complexion.

Another incident that may have given away ‘Kuya’s’ identity was when Daniel Padilla, then a guest for PBB, mistakenly called him ‘Mr.M’. Among Kapamilya stars, Mr. M is director Johnny Manahan, who is also known as a ‘star maker’ for his role as manager of Star Magic.

But even that is only speculation.

Everyone has waited long enough and we can only hope PBB can make the reveal worth our while.
