A man named Alex John Pagan was prohibited from entering the country after he refused to show his passport and ticket to immigration officials.

Pagan, who was believed to be intoxicated, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 on Sun night, Aug 23, on board a Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight from Bangkok, Thailand.

Upon reaching the immigration counter, Pagan, whose address is listed as Birmingham, United Kingdom, refused to present his passport and plane ticket.

He also tried to leave the airport and offered USD$100 to every person he encountered, including immigration officials and the airport police.

Mildred Borja, on-duty head supervisor at the immigration desk in NAIA Terminal 2, said the passenger will not be allowed to enter the country for being unruly and for refusing to present his passport.

Pagan was brought to the airline exclusion room while his exclusion and deportation papers were being prepared. Pagan was set to be placed on the next available flight back to Thailand.
