The local government unit of Mandaluyong City has reportedly given the Iglesia ni Cristo protesters a permit to hold their rally at the EDSA-Shaw area until Sun, Aug 30. This was confirmed in an update by dzMM correspondent Dennis Datu.
Mandaluyong Mayor Benjamin Abalos Jr. and Department of Interior and Local Government Sec.Roxas are now in a meeting at Camp Crame, most likely to discuss the situation.
