This is a heads up to those who are living and/or working in the area and aren’t part of the protest vigil.

“The Manila City government has given permission to the Iglesia ni Cristo members to hold their protest rally outside the Department of Justice (DOJ) office until Friday next week, Sep 4,” reports GMA News Online.

Manila Police District director Chief Supt. Rolando Nana confirmed that “the permit issued by the local government to the religious group is for until September 4, Friday.”

The report added: “A source from the Manila City Hall confirmed this information, saying that the permit includes the long weekend, with no time restrictions nor conditions.”

The permit issued by the Manila city government “lets members of the group assemble at the DOJ compound, covering Pedro Gil and Padre Faura Streets, and UN Avenue.”
