Sunday, day 4 of Iglesia ni Cristo protest rally on EDSA-Shaw, started slow for the religious block. But they’re expecting members from places as far away as Bicol, to arrive in their protest site in Mandaluyong. As of 3pm, PNP estimates the crowd to be at 1,800-strong.

The permit granted to the religious group is only until today, Aug 30. The Philippine National Police say they will drive out the group by tomorrow, which is when INC members also plan to leave.

According to Philippine Daily Inquirer, on Sunday afternoon, INC Officials have started negotiating to have their rally near the area if they aren’t given an extension.
