Congratulations, Elha! The 11-year-old banana cue vendor was crowned the winner of The Voice Kids Philippines Season 2

Elha clinched the title after getting  42.16% of votes following her heartfelt cover of Martin Nievera’s “Ikaw ang Lahat Sa Akin.”

Elha was followed by Reynan Dal-Anay, Esang de Torres and Sassa Dagdag in the rankings.

“First time ko lang pong nanalo sa ganitong contest na nasa TV so nagpapasalamat po ako sa mga sumuporta sa akin at bumoto sa’kin lalong lalo na po kay Coach Bamboo at kay God po, sobrang nagpapasalamat po ako,” Elha said on entertainment website push.com.

When she was announced as the new winner, Elha slumped to a shock on stage.

Elha only got 18.23% of votes in the semi-finals after belting out “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.  While the judges deemed that a “perfect performance”, voters were transfixed by the performances of Reynan, the 11-year-old from the Tigwahanon Manobo tribe in Bukidnon.

But on Saturday’s live show, the excited Elha sang Mariah Carey’s “Emotions, earning cheers as she effortlessly hit the song’s whistle tone

“She is a very special singer. Undeniable,” Her coach, Bamboo Mañalac said. Elha is the first representative from Team Bamboo to win in the competition.

Throughout the competition, Elha showed her depth, proving she was not just another girl with a big voice.

Her blind audition piece? Also a Mariah Carey hit. Elha chose Bamboo after her rendition of “Vision of Love.”

“May some points, nangyari nga na it was a little too much for you. Pero ‘yung power, definitely nandoon. It shows me, I have a very strong singer here in front of me. So thank you very much and I am very happy you are part of Kamp Kawayan,” Bamboo said at that time.

Elha also showed great technique in voice control even in the battle rounds as she sang Alamid’s “Your Love”. She bested two others in that segment and earned a standing ovation from the judges.

“Napakasarap lang, nakakatuwa lang pakinggan ‘yung version ng ‘Your Love’ from a perspective ng mga bata, ng kabataan,” Sarah Geronimo said.

She then advanced to the Sing Offs, leaving everyone breathless with her interpretation of Gary Valenciano’s “Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos?”. According to ABS-CBNnews.com, Elha edicated this song to her late father.

“Sabi ni mama, baka mayroon naman daw pong dahilan kung bakit kinuha si papa,” she shared.

With the win, Elha won PHP1 million in cash, a trust fund worth PHP1 million, a recording contract, a house and lot, and a brand new car.

What are Elha’s plans after winning TVKPH2?

“Iipunin ko muna po. Gusto ko po sanang magtayo ng restaurant,” she said.
