Kids are criminals’ convenient “props.”

“Four women were arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 commercial area after they were caught stealing branded beauty products from a Duty Free stall with the use of two children,” reports Itchie G. Cabayan on Journal Online.

The women were identified as Evelyn Dizon and Sheila Gonzales, both of Montalban, Rizal, and Leticia Patio and Angelica Quezon, both residents of Caloocan City.

The report noted: “Airport Police Investigation Chief Officer 2 Danilo Inalves stated in his investigation report that at 2:40 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, the said women were caught via the closed circuit television stealing products aided by two small children. The women would take the items and then pass them on to the kids. At one point, the kids were also caught on CCTV doing the stealing themselves.”

The suspects were subjected to inquest proceedings at the Pasay City Prosecutor’s office after the filing of appropriate charges against them.
