Arnell Ignacio reconciles with former boyfriend Ken Psalmer after calling off engagement

Why does this Arnell Ignacio love affair feel like it’s on speed?!

Two months into their engagement, the 52-year-old comedian and TV host called it off with singer Ken El Psalmer, 28. One month later, the two have reportedly made up.

But are they rekindling their romance?

“Ngayon, hindi naman kami together as a couple. Ano lang, kaibigan, tapos tingnan natin… So, para kaming…huwag lang kaming magkagalit,” Arnell said in an interview with Push.com.ph.

“Okey na muna kami na ganito, yung friends na magkasama. Wala, eh. Siguro, didiskubrehin namin na anong meron kami, bakit kami nagkakilala, bakit nangyayari ito, bakit kami nagkakahiwalay, pero in spite of ang lalaki na ng isyu, nagkakabalikan pa rin,” he added.

While the trouble is all behind them for now, Arnell revealed the source of their rift and said their relationship was manipulated by a “demonyita” — a close friends, no less.

“Nadiskubre namin na meron lang palang gumagawa ng kuwento na pinag-aaway kami. Pati yung mga pinapadala ko sa kanya hindi binibigay, so, akala niya, two-face[d] ako — mabait ako pagkaharap ako, tapos iba kapag nakatalikod na. Trinabaho yun nung isang demonyita na ang gusto pala, eh, kasama niya lang lagi si Ken,” Arnell said.

“Inimbestigahan ko, ang record din pala ng baklitang ito, kahit duon sa dati niyang pinagtatrabahuhan, eh, meron ding ganu’n (naninira ng relasyon)… Pinagharap-harap kami para magkaalaman na… Nawindang ako, pero pinigil ko talaga kasi alam mo naman, iba na ngayon, meron nang YouTube, so, sa legal na lang,” Arnell shared.

And what about the diamond ring he gave Ken during his super kilig, super bongga proposal at Manila Diamond Hotel that went viral?

“Hindi ko naman binawi. Binalik niya yun kasi nga, yung nire-represent naman non, eh, temporarily suspended. Pero hopefully, maging ano ulit,” Arnell said.

The two first met at sing-along bar in Malate where Arnell saw Ken on stage. According to Pep.ph, Ken has been singing professionally since he was 17 and was once part of the band Circle of Faith. He has also had gigs in Japan, Sngapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and China.

Arnell is also the talent manager of Ken.
