Former Iglesia ni Cristo minister Isaias Samson Jr. has no plans of withdrawing his complaint against leaders of the INC, despite alleged threats to his security.

“If there’s something that happens to me, so be it. I believe it is God’s will. As long as i have my life and my strength, I will continue to fight against corruption,” he said.

Samson has filed an illegal detention case against members of the INC council claiming they placed him and his family under house arrest.

Samson said the case is not just about what the INC did to him but about exposing the alleged corruption within the council.

He added however that he is open to a dialogue with the council, although he no longer trusts its members.

“I know who they are, what they can do and will do just to protect themselves. In the past days, they have lied to people, they used the name of Ed Manalo to make the members of the church follow them,” said Samson.

Samson also alleged that some INC members in the capital agree with him. That’s why the leadership had to gather supporters from the provinces just to fill up EDSA.

He also reiterated his appeal to the government to disclose details of the INC meeting.

“I’m the one involved here and I should have been included in the talk that they had. I ask the gov’t to please be transparent as to what was agreed upon because it’s the only thing that will help me.” (ANC)
