At around 7pm on Mon night, Aug 31, hairdresser Elsa Genobe, 52, and her son Mark Angelo, 18, were nabbed by members of the San Juan City Police’s Station Anti-Illegal Drugs (SAID) unit during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Batis, San Juan City.
“The operation was based on an information that the mother-and-son tandem and one Jun Habagat were using their residence as a den for illegal drug activities,” reports Arlene Rivera on Journal Online.
A policeman, who posed as buyer, was able to get sachets of shabu from the mother and son. Habagat, howeever, was able to escape.
