Tongues are wagging over the gorgeous sparkler Pauleen Luna wore on the Sep 1 episode of Eat Bulaga! Many were left wondering: Is it an engagement ring from her partner, Vic Sotto?
Pauleen held the mic with her left hand, too, so it was really impossible for the audience to miss the huge bling on her finger.
We did some digging on Instagram, and we were left with some photos with cryptic captions.
“THANK YOU LORD FOR ALL THE BLESSINGS!” she said, along with a picture taken inside the Perpetual Adoration Chapel.
Acting coach and former actress Beverly Vergel, who has close ties with Pauleen, also posted a photo of a stunning solitaire ring. A solitaire setting is one of the most famous styles for engagement rings.
Beverly’s caption? “CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am sooo happy for you!!! It’s meant to be. This love will last a lifetime,” she wrote on Instagram.
She also posted what looks like a text message from someone who will be talking about an engagement soon, “Before it comes out in the news, I want you to be the first ones to know, I am engaged!.”
Beverly then captioned it with, “You have been the same beautiful person inside and out since the day you walked in my class at 13 years old. Fame, fortune, celebrity status, or the perks of showbiz lifestyle never changed your beautiful soul.”
Interestingly, a post from beverlyvergel.blogspot.com said Pauleen walked into Beverly’s acting workshops when — guess what? — she was 13 years old. Coincidence?
PEP.ph tried to contact Pauleen to confirm the rumors, but so far, she is still mum about the gem on her finger.
This is not the first time fans suspected Pauleen could already be wearing an engagement ring.
In May, many news outlets have already reported on the sighting but Pauleen said that one was a prop for the show, The Rich Man’s Daughter.
So, is this the real deal or just another teleserye prop Pauleen forgot to take off?
