Kris Aquino was only supposed to answer if she would want “school or showbiz” for her son, Bimby. But somehow, we ended up learning something about Bimby’s trust fund.
In a recent episode of Kris TV, she revealed she wants her son to study overseas: “Honestly, kung ako ang tatanungin, I hope he would want to study abroad. It’s a different experience,” she said.
The Kapamilya host also has no objections if her 8-year-old wants to get into showbusiness, but Kris adds, she also would not keep her son from being involved in sports. She believes Bimby may take after his dad, PBA star James Yap. “Showbiz kung gusto niya. Kasi kung lumbas ang athletic DNA at gusto talaga, okay din. Basta mag-aral.”
Whatever Bimby plans to do, Kris says, she would insist that Bimby get a diploma: “I’m just gonna demand, give me that diploma. I deserve that.”
And this is where it all boils down to: “Naka-specify yun sa trust fund niya.”
“Promise! You can specify eh, na kailangan may college diploma. Tapos, you can give it in stages. Kasi mahirap yun ah, na a guy to have so much control of his money. Even if it is his money, but at such a young age, baka mawalan ng drive,” Kris added.
Kris had said whatever Bimby earned from his movie My Little Bossings went directly to his trust fund. Kris had also noted, she always has Bimby’s future in mind as she when investing his earnings from endorsements and other profitable projects.
