CCTV footage taken in Laoag, Ilocos Norte shows a German national named Helmut Keil and his Filipina wife, Germalyn, hurting and choking a 12-year-old boy who accidentally hit Germalyn’s niece with a baseball bat.
The boy, who is identified only as “James,” was simply practicing his swing when Germalyn’s niece passed behind him. The baseball bat hit her arm. However, she didn’t call James’ attention. She was seen entering a van parked nearby.
Moments later, Germalyn darted out of the van and started berating James. She dragged him toward the van. Later on Keil also joined in hurting James. They dragged him into the van.
Several moments later, the boy was pushed out of the van. Keil was still holding him by the neck and then pinned him to the ground.
As advised by the police and social workers, James’ family is filing a child abuse case against Keil and his wife.
ABS-CBN News tried to get a comment from James’ abusers, but they refused to make a statement. (from a TV Patrol report)
