Look who’s coming back.

Renowned chef, best-selling author, and TV personality Anthony Bourdain announced that he will be returning to the Philippines to shoot an episode of his CNN show Parts Unknown.

“We’re coming soon,” said Bourdain, who first visited the Philippines in 2008. “This season, we’re coming to the Philippines. We”ll do better than the last time,” he said. “To all my Filipino fans, we’re coming back. Start roasting a pig slowly.”

While Bourdain said he is excited to try different Filipino dishes, there are two favorites that he’s definitely looking forward to taste again: Lechon and sisig.

In 2008, Bourdain first visited the Philippines to shoot for his old show No Reservations. Back then, he sampled Cebu lechon and quickly said it trumped Indonesia’s Babi Guling as the best pork dish in the world. No wonder this punk from NYC is excited to return.

Apart from the Philippines, he will also make his way to Greece, Japan, China, and Montana.

Bourdain claimed his third trophy at the Creative Arts Emmys where Parts Unknown has Anthony Bourdain traveling the world and sampling food from the countries he’s visiting. He’s already won for Outstanding Informational Series/Special. With reporting from ABS-CBNnews.com.
