Just like the title says, actor JM de Guzman is officially out of the Metro Manila Film Festival entry Walang Forever.

Atty. Joji Alonso, the film’s producer, confirmed the news to pep.ph, saying the team could no longer wait for JM’s availability. He also verified circulating reports that actor Jericho Rosales is taking over.

“Yes, Jericho Rosales will take on the role of Ethan in Walang Forever,” the lawyer said in a text message. The film, directed by Dan Villegas, also stars Jennylyn Mercado and Lorna Tolentino.

Could this still be connected to the fallout of Enrique Gil’s drunken London flight nightmare? Is JM in someone’s bad graces?

Well, that’s just us thinking out loud. The tabloids tell a different story. According to the grapevine, JM allegedly has an attitude problem. Even the producers of Kapamilya afternoon series All of Me are said to be considering removing his character.

“Kapag tulog daw ito sa set, nagagalit daw siya kapag ginigising para mag-take na. Naninigaw raw sa staff at minsan ay nagmumura pa. Kaya ayaw na raw siyang gisingin ng mga PA at ilang staff. Sinubukan daw ng director nila na gisingin ito, ganun din ang inabot niya. Kaya ipinarating na raw sa bosses at napagdesisyunan na huwag na lang daw patagalin sa All of Me,” a report from Abante-Tonite read.

His All of Me co-stars, however, were quick to defend JM, saying they have no problems on set. They also denied they’re going off air any time soon. The show just premiered last August.

“Walang dumarating na balita sa amin na seven weeks lang kami. Wala kaming nagiging problema. Masaya naman lagi sa set. He [JM] is professional. He’s doing his best para makabawi,” actress Yen Santos tells pep.ph.

Hopefully, it’s not to late for him to rescue his business relationships. JM’s foray into showbiz this year is considered his comeback, after his bout with drugs and depression
