The good news? Nobody was hurt.

A short-circuited car caused the Eastwood Mall fire on Wednesday morning at around 10:30am. It reached third alarm, but was thankfully put out by the firefighting team before it could hurt mall-goers.

The mall is on normal operations as we speak. “We will continue to assist any of our customers or residents should such incidents occur,” the Eastwood statement reads.
