Looks like the appearance and antics of the risqué all-female group Playgirls at the birthday celebration of Laguna Rep. Benjie Agarao has started some kind of fire.
Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chair and senatorial hopeful Francis Tolentino has already denied reports that he brought the Playgirls to perform at the Oct 1 gathering — he claims the emcee had been misinformed about the Playgirls being his “surprise gift” for those at the event.

For the record, the group’s manager, Michael Tupaz, also denied that a politician had booked them for the event. In a Philippine Daily Inquirer report, Tupaz only said that they were contacted by a certain “Joanna”.
The Playgirls’ antics on stage made the birthday party look more like a stag party — as they simulated various sex acts with some men from the audience. We can’t really tell who the guys are, but they look like they’re having a good time.
One thing’s for sure: The Playgirls are sure getting a popularity boost right now.

However, the LP members may not be too happy with the “Daang Matuwad” meme below, which pokes fun at President Aquino’s “Daang Matuwid” campaign slogan.
Meanwhile, Rep Agarao has dismissed complaints that the performance was lewd. “Katulad ko, lalaking lalaki ako, hindi ako masasagwaan,” he said in an interview with Inquirer.net.
