Hired killers continue to do business in Metro Manila.
“On Thu morning, Oct 1, Ben William Reyes, 48, an employee of Pasay City Hall, who had just taken his child to school, was shot dead by a still unidentified suspect along M. Dela Cruz Street,” reports Jeffrey C. Tiangco on Journal Online.
Reyes worked for the city’s Public Order and Safety Office (POSO).
CCTV footage shows that at around 6:15am, a man on a motorcycle went near Reyes and shot him in the chest. Once Reyes fell, the gunman got off the motorcycle and shot him in the head twice.
The report noted: “SPO4 Ronaldo Frades and PO3 Henry Manong, of Station Investigation and Detective Management Branch of Pasay City police, said the victim had just taken his child to Juan Sumulong Elementary School and was walking back to his house when the gunman made his move.”
The case is still under investigation.
