Is this delicadeza or an admission of guilt?

Metro Manila Development Authority chair and senatorial hopeful Francis Tolentino says he has requested the Liberal Party to remove him from its senatorial slate following the recent Playgirls fracas which offended not just women’s rights groups but also the general Filipino public as well and his potential running mates.

“Female members of the ruling LP, such as Justice Secretary Leila de Lima and PhilHealth director Risa Hontiveros, earlier stressed that they would be uncomfortable running with Tolentino,” reports Patricia Lourdes Viray on Philstar.com.

Tolentino had at first denied any responsibility for the sexy dancers’ performance at the birthday party of Rep. Benjie Agarao in Laguna last Oct 1. A few hours ago, he apologized for the incident. When Coconuts Manila spoke to Playgirls manager Michael Tupas, he said they were booked by a caller that identified herself as Joanna. So does this mean Tolentino is Joanna? We’re confused now.
