Wooo! Naia is now only the 8th worst airport in Asia!

Consider this an achievement.

The Ninoy Aquino International Airport is no longer the worst airport in the world.  In fact, our beloved NAIA is no longer in Sleeping in Airports’ 2015 list of the 10 worst airports in the world.

NAIA, however, is still in one of the website’s worst lists. In the 2015 survey published on Oct 17, NAIA is ranked the 8th worst airport in Asia.

Sleeping in Airports commended the airport management’s rehabilitation efforts that have helped its decongestions and “the introduction of things like the Wings Transit Lounge in Terminal 3 in making things more comfortable.”

“That said, things like leaking ceilings in Terminal 1 and collapsing floors in Terminal 2 show there is still room for improvement,” the report continues.

Long lines, forgettable (and expensive, if we may add) food selection, bad customer service, lack of restrooms and crowded waiting areas are among the things that continue to annoy passengers, the website pointed out.

In any case, NAIA is also nowhere to be found in the 2015 Worst Airports for Sleeping list.
