On this episode of Carinderia Crawl, we learn to appreciate the power of simplicity and not judge a food by its appearance thanks to a dish called pancit puti at LSS Fastfood, a low-profile eatery that has been around for more than 30 years in Makati.
Unlike other noodle dishes that are bursting with colors and ingredients, this all-white noodle dish can be considered minimalist — the toppings are limited to shredded meat and minced vegetables. On its own, the noodles are tasty and flavorful. To finish off the meal, we ordered cassava cake, which turned out soft and with just the right sweetness. The total bill? Only PHP60.
