The haze is slowly creeping into the Philippines. From Mindanao, the smog has climbed up to Cebu, with reports saying Metro Manila could suffer as well. So it’s best to be aware of and learn the different ways it can and has affected the people of Pekanbaru, a small town in Indonesia, which has been blanketed in smog in the past month.
In the third and final part of Into the Haze, Coconuts TV talks with the mayor of Pekanbaru, who says that they’ve asked the central government of Indonesia to prevent any more forest fires, as well as to a father who’s already lost a child due to the haze.
