Kris Aquino reveals more details about the lunch she’s hosting for the APEC first ladies

Krissy’s blow-by-blow account on the APEC lunch she’s hosting has begun!

Apparently, it’s not just her who’s going to host. It’s Kris and her sisters who will be taking the first ladies of APEC out to lunch on the 19th. Ten of them have already confirmed.

On Instagram, Krissy has also informed the public that she and her sister are not being EPAL as largely accused by the haters. “My sisters and I will be the added expense to beautify the lunch venue, mount the stage and for the sound system, pianist etc,” she writes.

She reveals that she was given 20 minutes —and only 20 minutes — to do a program. So she quickly drew up a plan: Derek Ramsay and Matteo Guidicelli will be co-hosting with her. Ogie Alcasid, Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto will be serenading the ladies. They will be sticking to broadway tunes and a medley.

According to this Inquirer report, apart from the lunch, the sisters will also be taking the ladies out to tour Intramuros.

TRUTH: when Ate text me while we were on vacation, string quartet ang entertainment. So she said baka pwede kong pakiusapan si @ramsayderek11 to cohost the short program w/ me & is it possible for Derek to sing even if lip sync para may konting excitement naman. I said: Ate, let me please make some calls, kaya ‘to. There were other artists in our short list, but DFA was very strict that the program should only be 20 minutes, so nakakahiya if not everybody will get their moment. Additional trivia, when I was telling Ate & Pinky I was hoping for an ADELE medley, they both said WHO? OMG I decided to not interfere w/ the choice of songs & we’ll stick it out w/ some Broadway tunes & a medley.
