Look who’s mad as hell.

“The verbal tussle between the camps of Makati City Representative Abigail Binay-Campos and acting Makati City Mayor Kid Peña has been fired up by the alleged shutting down of the former’s office at city hall,” reports Anna Liza Vilas-Alavaren in Manila Bulletin.

The report noted: “Rep. Binay alleged that Peña had ordered the closure of her office at the city hall and will be occupied by acting Makati Vice Mayor Leonardo Magpantay.”

Rep. Binay was quoted as saying, “I was informed that my office at Makati City Hall will be used by the acting vice mayor. Prior to that, employees detailed to the office received memos recalling them back to their mother unit. In effect, the acting leadership at City Hall has shut down my office.”

She added that “closing up her office would be a problem since it regularly accommodates constituents from the second district who are seeking her assistance.”

“What they represent is narrow and vindictive politics that places pettiness above the public interest,” she said.

Rep. Binay, by the way, is set to run against Peña for mayor in 2016.

Peña’s dismissed Binay’s allegations as “mere dramatics.”

Acting city information officer Gibo delos Reyes said, “It is a baseless accusation and we ask Congresswoman Binay to spare us of such dramatics. The people of Makati know who has really done the bullying.”
