JM de Guzman melts down on Instagram, hint on rehab

On Thursday, actor JM De Guzman posted some heavy, disconcerting videos and pictures to his Instagram account that half-scared and half-entertained us. We sincerely hope he’s just having a go at us — otherwise this stuff really breaks our heart.

In one post, he films himself air boxing at a furious speed and ends it by flexing his muscles. Nothing alarming about that, but we do wonder what the meant when he wrote that he’s “friends with the monster. Everything is planned by God. He made something very beautiful from my pain.”

In the next video, he is again flexing and air boxing, but he also films himself shouting, though nothing intelligible comes out of his mouth. “Pag masaya ako, nakakalungkot. Pag tahimik may problema. Pag malungkot naka drugs. Guys… Guys… eto ako. Live with it.” Unnerving.

But perhaps the most worrying of all posts was a photo of him holding his right hand up to almost cover the screen, “Hey dad, are you going to send me to rehab again? Some things are just None of my Business.”

There were also snapshots of what appears to be pages from his journal, with doodles and poems that all seem to hint at difficult times.

We hope he’s just method acting.

I’m a half naked hairless man with a hair blower. Harmless. Used to be a simple easy going guy* The wild world was exposed at an early age. Drugs, sex and rockenroll. Went hardcore. But it never crossed my mind to hurt somebody. Only wanted in my little ways and effort help this industry society country world a better place. Coz that’s why addicts use. They constantly find a little taste of heaven here on earth. 17months in rehab . 6 months I’ve been running the program. Hear our story* respect our journey. We can be also a big help in our society if you just let us and free us from the the undeniable stigma that literally chokes us every day.. Iam an alchemist. Myself as the test subject. Nearing into a conclusion. Some us risks our lives to answer some questions that might be a big help in the future. Hopefully thd kids path are cleared if we are supported not discriminated* thanks.We don’t promote drugs. We are the drugs. Peace
