Parañaque City Councilor Alma Moreno is the talk of the town after Coconuts Manila’s report yesterday about her interview with Karen Davila on ANC’s Headstart.
It showed the senatorial candidate struggling to answer Davila’s questions about her political platform and stand on the Reproductive Health Bill (to control the population, Moreno suggested that financially-challenged people should keep the lights on all the time).
The video received mixed reactions from viewers — some were enlightened, while others were put on the defensive.
“Karen Davila as the interviewer should have put legal terms in layman’s terms sensing that Alma has difficulty in fully understanding them…Naiwasan sana ang awkwardness na ito,” wrote Remi Dayacap on our Facebook page.
Meanwhile, a Facebook page dedicated to the actress posted a clip from her 1989 movie Virginia P accompanied by a verse from the Bible: “Do not judge or you too will be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will come back against you. Forgive others and you will be forgiven.”
