If you’re pissed about how the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit is taking over life as you know it in your part of the Earth, you can turn to the heavens for some entertainment.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the Leonids meteor shower will be visible in most parts of the country in the late Tue, Nov 17, until dawn on Wed, Nov 18.

“The Leonids meteor shower is created by bits of debris left behind by the repeat passages through the inner solar system of comet 55P/Tempel-Tuttle. It will radiate from constellation Leo and can be observed in the eastern horizon,” reports Ellalyn De Vera in Manila Bulletin.
