Fan asks for a photo with James Reid, gets an instant scoop on the alleged James and Julia romance instead

On Mon afternoon, Nov 23, Facebooker Inah Evans posted on the social media site her terrible experience with James Reid.

“Grabe lang! Kanina my fandom with James Reid ended,” she began her lengthy post.

She was having fun at Reserve in Bonifacio Global City when a friend texted her that her idol James Reid was nearby at The Bowery. Inah did what we all would, she moved her butt to The Bowery.

After downing one glass of cranberry vodka, Inah Evans went up to James “to request to take a picture, in the most polite fan way. But we were turned down. We were turned down with the words ‘not today. Maybe next time’,” narrates Inah.

Pinoy Big Brother alum Patrick Sugui, who was with the actor, apologized.

After expressing her disappointment with the actor, Inah dropped a bomb: Julia Barretto was also with the group. According to Inah, they were a group of five that also included Sam Concepcion.

Inah’s Facebook post continues: “Ang yabang lang. Presko ba. Kasi nga famous. And the fact that he’s so occupied kissing and flirting [sic] Julia Barretto that time.”She adds, “maybe that’s why. Kulang na lang kasi magsex sila sa harapan namin hahahaha. Real talk bruh.”

This isn’t the first time James and Julia have been linked to each other. In July, the two Kapamilya stars were rumored to have gone on a coffee date. They both flat out denied it.

Inah’s post has since gone viral, with the entertainment press picking up the story. 

JaDine fans have started hounding the rejected fan. 

James, Julia and Star Magic have remained mum about the matter. 

James’ best friend, Bret Jackson, said James and Julia are really only friends. “We’re all in showbiz and we’re all the same age. I don’t know why it’s not allowed for us to be friends with other people, di ba,” he tells PEP.ph in a separate report. 

Coconuts Manila has reached out to Inah Evans and is waiting for her reply.

– Update – 

We were finally able to speak with Inah. She said she was at The Bowery very early on Monday morning, between 1am-4am. She was with a group of eight, outside at the smoking area on the second floor, trying to drum up the courage to go up to James, when she noticed the two canoodling. She said she even waited for the two to, uh, finish before she approached James. And while James was shutting her down, Julia remained was quiet.

“Hindi ako aware na they were linked na pala before,” Inah told Coconuts Manila on Facebook. “At saka normal lang naman ang hindi totoo yung love team in real life di ba? Like Bea and John Lloyd! So hindi ko alam bakit ganun na lang maka-react yung mga JaDine fans.”

Inah says her status update wasn’t to start a fire or ruin anybody. She was just really hurt with James’ rejection.
