Jollibee is set to conquer another continent — it’s third! — as it announced its plans to open its first store in Australia come 2017.

According to Dennis Flores, Jollibee Foods Corps Vice President for International Markets, Jollibee will open in Australia and Japan after it opens in UK and Italy in 2016.

“Flores said Jollibee’s core strategy for international expansion is to pick markets where there is a large concentration of Filipinos,” reports Rohan Williams on Bmag.com.au.

In Australia, Filipinos are the third largest Asian Australian immigrant group, with Fil-Aussies as the fifth largest subgroup of Overseas Filipinos.
