“We chose to cover ‘Sorry’ just out of the blue, really,” Graceson told Coconuts Manila. “[Bugoy] started singing it and it just sounded incredible. I decided to try and do my own spin on it and sing it in a little bit of a different way to the original as to show our differences as artists and I think it blended well.”

Graceson, 27, moved to the Philippines three months ago after living in China. He moved to Manila because he fell in love with the city during his first visit a year and a half ago.

“Manila brings out my romantic side.” he added. “I came here with no money and no job but I’ve been lucky because I’ve met the most incredible people here who have helped me find work and odd jobs to get me by.”

Drilon was second runner-up in the 2006 Pinoy Dream Academy and is the voice of the hit song “Paano na Kaya.”

Aside from “Sorry”, the two artists have also covered a Filipino song, “Tadhana” by Up Dharma Down.
