When the new trailer for the upcoming movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released last week, geekdom erupted.
It didn’t leave our feed, with friends and contacts sharing and resharing links to the trailer.
But 27-year-old comic book artist Aaron Felizmenio took it a step further and created a meme. Instead of sharing the trailer, he reimagined the “v” on the title and created this hilarious meme featuring…Vilma Santos as Darna.
“I was speaking with my friend, Mark Rosario and we ended up realizing the ‘v’ in the title could be Ate Vi. It made sense because she was once a Darna, and a good one at that,” Felizmenio tells Coconuts Manila.
Making silly memes, he says is something he likes to do on his spare time. Among the comics he’s created are Gwapoman 2000 and Minkowski Space Opera, which are available in bookstores.
